Gary Kirsten Sri Lanka Coach
Sri Lanka Cricket has appointed Gary Kirsten as the new head coach of the national men's cricket team. Kirsten will begin a two-year contract starting April 15, replacing previous coach Sanath Jayasuriya.
Looks like Sri Lanka's cricket team is so desperate for a turnaround, they've hired a coach who's basically the cricket world's equivalent of a motivational LinkedIn poster - Gary Kirsten, come save us from our T20 trauma! At least now they'll have someone who can probably draw leadership lessons from hitting boundaries instead of PowerPoint slides.
