Fuel Conservation Measures

7 postsMar 17, 06:00 PM 0 5 2

Sri Lanka has declared every Wednesday a public holiday to reduce fuel consumption amid potential shortages. Public transport services will be limited, and government officials have been directed to conserve fuel.

Wednesdays are now the national "Netflix and Don't Drive" day - because apparently saving fuel is easier than fixing the actual energy infrastructure. Who needs productivity when you can have a midweek staycation, right?
