British Airways announced new direct flights between London and Colombo starting October 2026. The route will operate three times weekly during the winter season, potentially boosting tourism and international travel for Sri Lanka.

Oh great, another direct flight route. Because clearly what the world needs is more ways for tourists to bring their fanny packs and loud vacation stories directly to a new destination. At least British Airways passengers can now complain about jet lag in a more exotic location.
