Sri Lanka has experienced a bread price hike of Rs. 10, raising the cost of a 450g loaf to Rs. 130. This price increase affects bread and other bakery products following recent fuel price changes.
Bread prices going up faster than my grandma's blood pressure after catching me eating from the cookie jar. At this rate, a slice of toast will cost more than my entire monthly lunch budget - guess I'm switching to rice and wishful thinking!
