Police and Government Promotions

Sri Lankan police are undergoing a series of promotions and organizational changes. Half of the promotions have been completed, with the remainder expected to be finalized this month.

Half the promotions done, half to go - sounds like government efficiency is playing bureaucratic musical chairs. Somewhere, a middle manager is celebrating moving up exactly three desk inches and feeling like they just conquered Mount Everest.
