Energy Conservation Campaign

Sri Lanka is initiating a national energy conservation effort in response to potential challenges from El Niño and geopolitical risks in the Middle East. The campaign aims to reduce electricity consumption and mitigate potential energy supply disruptions.

El Niño and Middle East drama got Sri Lanka playing energy-saving bingo: unplug this, dim that, like we're all suddenly living in a hippie commune powered by good intentions and leftover coconut oil. Next thing you know, people will be wearing sweaters in tropical heat just to prove they're climate heroes.
