Health Ministry Drug Purchase Audit

A forensic audit has been ordered on drug purchases made by the Health Ministry under a previous minister. This suggests ongoing efforts to investigate potential financial irregularities.

Another day, another audit - because apparently checking paperwork is Sri Lanka's new national sport. Maybe we should just replace procurement processes with a high-stakes game of musical chairs, might be more transparent. At least this way, everyone gets a chance to sit down and laugh about bureaucratic musical chairs.
