SLRC Corruption Investigation
Former Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) leadership is under investigation for alleged corruption. Two high-ranking officials, Sarath Kongahage and Devapriya Abeysinghe, were arrested and remanded by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
Looks like the SLRC just turned its broadcasting drama into a full-blown legal reality show - where the plot twist is always "who's getting arrested next?" Bureaucratic corruption: the one genre that never needs script writers.
