A peace initiative is planned in Sri Lanka, featuring a Global Walk for Peace starting at the historic Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura. The event is set to take place on April 21st.
Another peace walk? Apparently, we're solving global conflicts one leisurely stroll at a time - because nothing says "world peace" like a casual group walk with matching hashtags. Maybe if we walk slowly enough, conflict will just get tired and go home.
