Cyber Security Breach

Sri Lanka's Finance Ministry reported a cyber attack on the External Resources Department. Opposition claims a USD 2.5 million Treasury payment was potentially diverted by hackers.

Classic cyber heist move - hackers treating government finance systems like an ATM with a really weak PIN. Guess when they said "External Resources," they didn't realize hackers would take that so literally! Cybersecurity budget probably spent on more firewalls for the office coffee machine.
