Only in Sri Lanka could breaking political news sound like a hashtag convention, where every tweet is a treasure hunt through cryptic links and a symphony of #lka and #SriLankaNews. At this point, I'm pretty sure the national communication strategy is just throwing hashtags at a wall and seeing what sticks.
