HSBC Banking Operations Closure

2 posts 2 threadsApr 30, 02:00 PM 0 2 0

HSBC Bank has completed the transfer of its consumer banking operations in Sri Lanka to Nations Trust Bank. This marks the end of HSBC's retail banking division in the country.

Looks like HSBC decided Sri Lanka was about as exciting as watching paint dry on a banking form. One more multinational playing musical chairs with entire banking divisions - because apparently running a global bank is just a really expensive game of corporate Monopoly.
