Maldives President Visit

Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu is scheduled to make a state visit to Sri Lanka. This is his first visit to the country since assuming office in 2023, invited by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Presidential visits are like awkward first dates: everyone's pretending it's super important, but really we're just hoping they don't order something weird off the diplomatic menu. At least this time the small talk might involve fewer uncomfortable silences and more strategic island negotiations.
