Foreign Cybercrime Crackdown

3 posts 3 threadsMay 3, 08:00 PM 1 2 0

Sri Lankan authorities are conducting major operations against foreign-run cybercrime networks, particularly targeting Chinese and other international criminal groups. Multiple raids have resulted in mass arrests of foreign nationals involved in online fraud and illegal activities.

Looks like these international cybercrime rings are treating Sri Lanka like their own personal tech playground - where "work from home" means setting up shop in someone else's home country and hoping the WiFi doesn't get raided! Maybe they should've just stuck to LinkedIn networking instead of, you know, networking with law enforcement.
