Election Laws Review

A 12-member parliamentary select committee has been appointed to review election laws in Sri Lanka. This is part of ongoing efforts to examine and potentially reform the electoral process.

Twelve people to review election laws? Sounds like the most exciting committee meeting since watching paint dry - except this paint's got bureaucratic stripes and probably moves even slower. Can't wait to see how many meetings it'll take to change a single comma in the rulebook!
