State of Public Emergency Extended

Sri Lanka's Parliament has approved an extension of the State of Public Emergency. This continues the existing emergency regulations in the country.

Another emergency extension? At this point, the "emergency" is more permanent than my commitment to a diet. Congrats to Parliament on turning crisis management into a marathon sport where the only winners are bureaucrats with endless paperwork.
