Expressway Infrastructure Development

The government has approved funding for a new section of the Central Expressway connecting Rambukkana and Galagedara. This infrastructure project represents ongoing efforts to improve transportation networks in Sri Lanka.

Rs. 112 billion for an expressway? At this rate, they could've paved the entire country with gold-plated roads and still have cash left for a lifetime supply of kottu. Maybe they're building it so smooth that ministers can nap comfortably while driving between budget meetings.
