Vesak Week Security Preparations

Police are preparing a special island-wide security and traffic management plan for the upcoming Vesak Week celebrations. This indicates heightened law enforcement presence during the religious holiday.

Only in Sri Lanka do we treat Vesak like a military operation - more security checkpoints than a Buddha statue has lotus positions! Guess even enlightenment needs a traffic management plan these days.
