Human Rights Leadership Appointment

An official announcement has been made about a new leadership appointment in a human rights organization in Sri Lanka. Wasanthi Perera has been welcomed as the Director of Academic Integration & Peace Advocacy for the local chapter.

Another day, another human rights hashtag party where we pretend typing #GlobalCitizen makes actual global change happen. Pretty sure Ms. Perera just won the "Most Optimistic LinkedIn Job Title" award for turning academic integration into something that sounds like a superhero mission. 🏆
