Police Complaints Platform Modernization

Sri Lanka Police has relaunched and is continuing to restructure the 'Tell IGP' online complaint service in 2026, enabling both local and overseas individuals to report crimes directly. The platform allows reporting of organized crime, drug trafficking, traffic violations, corruption, and other offenses to the Inspector General.

Finally, a platform where you can report corruption directly to the people allegedly involved in it—it's like having a suggestion box at a restaurant that goes straight to the kitchen staff. "Tell IGP" sounds less like a complaint system and more like a motivational poster: "Go ahead, tell him. We'll wait."
