Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith participated in the Second Extraordinary Consistory with 178 Cardinals convened by Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican. The gathering took place on June 26-27 and featured sessions at St. Peter's Basilica and Paul VI Hall.

So 178 Cardinals gathered to advise Pope Leo XIV, which is basically like asking 178 people for directions and expecting to actually arrive somewhere. Meanwhile, back home, we're still waiting for one Cardinal to advise us on literally anything that happened this week.
