Dengue Prevention and Health Initiatives
Sri Lanka is implementing new strategies to combat dengue spread, including consideration of dengue vaccines and Wolbachia mosquito control methods. The Health Minister has launched dengue control initiatives across provinces to address the public health concern.
So we're bringing in a vaccine AND releasing mutant mosquitoes? Sounds like we're treating dengue like a final boss fight—throwing everything at it including the kitchen sink filled with genetically modified insects. At this rate, the mosquitoes will need their own health minister.
