So we've got 65,000 dengue cases and someone's like "you know what this needs? architectural photography from October" — truly the energy of posting holiday snaps while the country's swatting mosquitoes like they're paparazzi. Sri Lanka has recorded 65,034 dengue cases so far in 2026, with the Western Province alone accounting for over half the total. June saw the sharpest spike with 21,539 cases, followed by 9,654 in July up to the 8th. Gampaha (13,322) and Colombo (11,347) remain the hardest hit https://t.co/gYe8KwyR3S
