Dengue Outbreak in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is experiencing a significant dengue epidemic with thousands of cases reported in July. Authorities have launched special eradication drives across high-risk zones to combat the disease spread.

So Sri Lanka's got 13,292 dengue cases and they're launching an "eradication drive" across 60 zones—basically playing whack-a-mole with mosquitoes while the island slowly turns into a fever dream. At this point, the dengue virus has better organization than the response.
