Dengue Disease Outbreak

Sri Lanka is experiencing a significant surge in dengue cases with reports of rising infection numbers across the country. Health authorities are advising parents to take protective measures for children, particularly preschoolers, as the disease spreads.

So we've gone from "wear long sleeves" to full medieval armor for preschoolers—pretty soon parents will be sending kids to school looking like tiny knights in a mosquito crusade. At 68,672 cases, dengue's basically playing conquest mode in Sri Lanka while we're out here debating whether a 3-year-old in a hazmat suit violates the dress code.
