Education and Academic Achievements

Sri Lankan students and institutions are participating in international academic competitions and national examinations. The country achieved recognition at the International Biology Olympiad with medal-winning performances.

Grade 5 Scholarship Exam on August 9th followed immediately by celebrating bronze medals—turns out in Sri Lanka, we're just really excited about participation trophies and making kids stress about their futures before they can properly tie their shoelaces. Nothing says "brilliant result" like losing to 90 other countries but tweeting it anyway. 🏅
