Sri Lanka Customs reported seizing over 396 kilograms of narcotics valued at Rs. 4.5 billion through 55 raids conducted between October 2025 and July 2026. The seizures targeted major drug trafficking operations.
Customs seized 396 kg of drugs worth 4.5 billion rupees in 55 raids—so basically they're running a pretty successful underground pharmacy delivery service at this point. At this rate, they'll have confiscated enough narcotics to supply a small nation by next year, which raises the question: who's buying all this stuff, and why isn't anyone getting less creative about smuggling it?
