Public Transport Infrastructure Development

Sri Lanka is expanding its public transportation system with new metro buses and improved transit options being introduced to reduce congestion. The government is investing in infrastructure improvements including metro bus services expected to launch in September.

"104 new metro buses rolling out in September" sounds great until you realize we're just redistributing the same three buses that have been circling the city since 2015—they're just getting fresh paint and a motivational hashtag.
