Police Asset Confiscation Operations

Sri Lankan police are moving to confiscate illegal assets worth Rs. 3,811 million as part of ongoing anti-corruption enforcement efforts. These operations target proceeds from illicit activities.

Apparently Rs. 3.8 billion in illegal assets is big enough news to tweet twice, but not big enough to write two different sentences about it. That's the journalistic equivalent of hitting "send" and immediately hitting "send" again because you forgot someone was listening.
