Water Scarcity and El Niño Impact

Sri Lanka faces water shortage challenges exacerbated by El Niño weather patterns. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has limited resources with only 100 water bowsers available to address the crisis.

100 water bowsers for an entire nation during El Niño—that's not a water management strategy, that's a participation trophy. Might as well hand them out at a raffle and call it crisis preparedness.
