Constitutional Amendment 22A Debate

3 posts 3 threadsAug 14, 08:00 PM 0 2 1

The Joint Opposition is backing proposed changes to the 22nd Amendment, arguing it does not undermine people's sovereignty. They have submitted a memorandum calling for fast passage of the amendment.

So the Joint Opposition is speedrunning constitutional amendments like they're trying to beat a world record, while simultaneously assuring us it definitely won't undermine democracy—kind of like a magician saying "trust me, the rabbit is still in the hat" right as feathers fly everywhere. Meanwhile, everyone's arguing about victims and criminals, which is wild because apparently the real crime here is how long it takes to decide what the actual crime is.
