Solar Panel Power Management

Sri Lanka's energy authorities have instructed rooftop solar systems generating over 300 kW to be switched off during peak hours. This measure is part of efforts to manage the national power grid.

"Turn off your solar panels during peak sunlight hours—because nothing says 'renewable energy strategy' like deliberately not using free electricity when the sun's literally doing its job. It's like telling someone to stop eating when they're hungry because the kitchen's getting too full."
