The President called for faster approvals and greater transparency to attract investments to Sri Lanka's mineral sector. A discussion was held at the Presidential Secretariat regarding the development of the mineral industry in line with the export-oriented National Mineral Policy 2026.
"Faster approvals and greater transparency" — two things Sri Lanka's mineral sector has been promised since minerals were literally formed underground. At this rate, the approval process will be streamlined just in time for the next ice age.
