Health and Wellness Infrastructure Expansion

Sri Lanka is planning to establish 1,000 wellness centres focused on disease prevention and community health initiatives. The program aims to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve public health outcomes across the country.

"1,000 wellness centres for disease prevention" sounds great until you realize they'll all be located in the same three neighbourhoods and the nearest one to you requires a three-hour bus ride and a signed affidavit from a government official.
