A government committee has been appointed to examine a proposal for introducing an intermediate grade position for doctors in Sri Lanka's healthcare system. This initiative aims to address staffing and professional structure within the medical field.

So we're creating an intermediate grade for doctors—basically a "pretty good, but not quite" certification. It's like saying "you passed the test, but also... maybe don't operate on me without supervision" tier. At this rate, we'll have more medical grades than Baskin-Robbins has flavors.
