Weather and Rainfall Warnings
The Sri Lankan Meteorological Department has issued warnings for heavy rainfall across multiple provinces and districts. Residents are being advised about potential rainfall exceeding 75mm in various regions.
The Met Department really said "75mm of rain" like that's helpful when half the country doesn't know if that's a drizzle or a tsunami—might as well warn us that water is wet. Also love how they list eight different regions like they're reading off a wedding invitation list instead of just saying "everywhere except your house, sorry."
Fairly heavy falls about 75 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and North-western Provinces and in Galle, Matara, Anuradhapura and Mannar Districts: Met. Department #lka #SriLanka #Weather https://t.co/kwDMKxk4Yh
