Heavy Rainfall Weather Alert
Sri Lanka's Meteorology Department issued warnings for heavy rainfall expected across multiple provinces. Rainfall amounts of 100-150 mm are forecast for Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-central, Uva and Southern provinces.
The Met Department really said "we're gonna give you options like a rainfall menu" — 100-150mm here, 75mm there, basically just throwing darts at a map and hoping one sticks. At this point they should just text "stay wet" and call it a day.
