Multiple posts report heavy rainfall warnings across Sri Lanka, with forecasts indicating showers, thundershowers, and rainfall above 75mm in specific provinces and districts. Weather alerts are being issued for Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-central provinces and other regions.
The Met Department really said "75mm above heavy rain" so many times we're all pretty sure they copy-pasted it into existence—at this point I'm waiting for someone to ask if that number is just tattooed on their keyboards at this point.
