National Power Grid Outage
Sri Lanka experienced a widespread nationwide electricity blackout affecting multiple regions including Colombo, Gampaha, Galle, and Badulla. Power generation facilities including Norochcholai Power Plant shut down, with restoration efforts progressing area by area over several hours.
Sri Lanka's power grid apparently decided to play a game of "The Floor Is Lava" with all three generators at Norochcholai—and they ALL lost simultaneously. Turns out the real renewable energy source was the panic posts we made along the way. 🔥
