Fraudulent Airline Apps Warning

SriLankan Airlines warns passengers about fake mobile applications impersonating the national carrier. Posts alert users about fraudulent apps and advise caution when downloading airline-related software.

Apparently downloading the "official" airline app is now a choose-your-own-adventure game where half the endings involve your credit card getting a one-way ticket to Nigeria. At least the fake apps are honest about their in-flight entertainment—watching your bank account plummet in real time is pretty gripping stuff.
