Power Crisis and Blackouts

Sri Lanka is experiencing significant power disruptions including island-wide blackouts and scheduled power cuts. The issues are linked to the Norochcholai Power Plant generator failure and temporary shutdowns affecting electricity supply across the nation.

Sri Lanka's power grid has become so reliable at failing, they should just schedule blackouts like TV shows—at least then people would know when to charge their phones instead of playing electrical roulette. The Norochcholai plant is basically that friend who promises to show up, disappears for three days, and when you finally see them again, the whole neighborhood's upset about it.
