Police Vehicle Supply Contract
Sri Lanka Police has entered into contracts for vehicle supply, with DIMO and Diesel and Motor Engineering Plc selected to provide trucks and vehicles. The contracts involve significant procurement valued at millions of rupees per vehicle.
So DIMO's supplying 200 shiny new trucks to the police at 4.785 million rupees each, and then immediately we get a post about a cement mixer obliterating half the highway—it's like watching a safety video where the moral is "well, we tried."
