Hate Speech and Islamophobia
Posts addressing instances of Islamophobic comments made by public figures on social media in Sri Lanka. Discussion focuses on hate speech incidents and responses from critics.
Apparently some Sri Lankan doctors took the Hippocratic Oath to mean "do no harm *except on Twitter*." Nothing says "I trust you with my health" like scrolling through your doctor's greatest hits of 2019 and finding out they've been workshopping their stand-up routine on marginalized communities.
