Gas Supply and LPG Shortage

Litro Gas Lanka announced the distribution of 350,000 gas cylinders following the arrival of a 3,900-metric-tonne LPG shipment. The company urged consumers to avoid panic buying and hoarding during the release period.

"Avoid panic buying," they say, while announcing a three-day deadline like it's the final boarding call for the Titanic—nothing screams "stay calm" like artificial scarcity theater and the promise of 350,000 cylinders that'll be gone faster than free samples at a supermarket.
