Major Drug Seizure on Beach

Police and Navy authorities recovered over 475kg of methamphetamine (Ice) and heroin from Talalla Beach in Matara, found in sacks and luggage bags. The seizure represents a significant drug trafficking interdiction operation.

Apparently someone decided to test if you *could* use a beach vacation to transport 475kg of drugs, and the answer was a resounding "yes, but also no." The real crime here is whoever packed 11 luggage bags thinking airport security vibes don't apply to literal sand—just casually leaving your entire pharmaceutical empire gift-wrapped on the shore like it's a lost and found item.
