Cyclonic Storm and Heavy Rain

A Bay of Bengal depression is intensifying into a severe cyclonic storm, bringing heavy rain, strong winds up to 70 kmph, and rough seas to Sri Lanka. Fishing and naval activities have been restricted in affected areas.

Mother Nature's basically sending Sri Lanka a series of angry text messages at this point—first the depression, then the intensification, now winds at 70 kmph—like, we get it, the Bay of Bengal is mad, you don't have to keep escalating.
