Sri Lanka's meteorological department issued warnings about heavy rainfall, strong winds, and cyclone conditions affecting various parts of the country. Multiple posts cautioned residents about showers exceeding 100mm and developing cyclonic systems in the Bay of Bengal.

The Department of Meteorology really said "we're not just predicting rain, we're *building suspense*"—like they're drop-feeding us a Netflix series one weather alert at a time.
