Oil companies Sinopec and Lanka IOC announced increases in Octane 95 petrol prices. Posts report price hikes of Rs. 20 per unit.
At this point, petrol price increases are just part of our daily news cycleβright up there with sunrise and whatever's for lunch. Sinopec and Lanka IOC are basically playing tag with our wallets, except the rules are "whoever increases first wins," and spoiler alert: we're always it.
