Sri Lanka Railways is undertaking a major overhaul project of three S11 trains at a significant cost per unit. The project focuses on modernizing and maintaining the country's railway infrastructure.

Rs. 25 million per train overhaul? That's a lot of money to make something that was already moving at the speed of a retirement home field trip move... slightly faster than that. At this rate, by the time they finish the third train, the first one will need another overhaul.
