Sri Lankan spice exports are experiencing significant growth, with pepper exports jumping 165% and cinnamon exports rising 68% in September 2026 compared to the previous year.

So pepper exports are up 165%? Meanwhile the rest of us can't even get basic stuff shipped without it taking six months. Sri Lanka really said "forget infrastructure, we're just gonna make the whole world cry while cooking" 🌶️😭
